My before & after after using eco beauty products

I’ve recently been in the gorgeous town of ‘Hoi An’ located half way down Vietnam’s beautiful East Coat. The resort Palm Gardens I stayed in had luscious green gardens filled with coconut palms, wild bamboo, frangipanis, hibiscus and lili-pads.

Every day was circa 38 degrees and the thought of wearing a heavy face of makeup was the last thing on my mind. So with my beauty bag packed full of my fave Eco products I have applied a quick 10 minute makeover that gave me a beautiful summery look. All ready for my afternoon beachside soiree!

Before & After Vietnam

To start with I’ve used an Estella Serum which gave my dehydrated skin a nice pick-me-up after my 16 hour plane journey! Then I’ve moisturized  with the Estella Day creme. Both of these products contain natural NZ ingredients and have Active ingredients Ovine (Sheep Placenta!) and Manuka Honey. I’ve been using them for the past few weeks and I have fallen in love with them! Tending towards dryer skin, I find the Day Creme has become a ‘must have’ in my daily beauty regime.

For my foundation base I’ve used the Eco Minerals Concealer in Medium and then my Eco Minerals shade Neutral Sand, which includes a natural SPF24. The SPF cover in this foundation is so good that if I apply a thorough layer I found I didnt need any other sun protection on my face! Neutral Sand comes from the Perfection Range which has a slightly more dewy finish.

I have doubled up on eyeshadow shades using: Indian Summer and Sunset Rose over the top. I’ve used the Chocolate Mascara also from the Eco Minerals Range. And because it’s a daytime look I havent opted for any eyeliner, but I have filled in my eyebrows lightly with Coco. All using my trusty Duo Brush!

I’ve finished my look with a bright light pink Karen Murrell lippy. This shade ‘Sugar Rush’ is such a head turner and I always get commented on it! These lipsticks are really natural and stay on so well. But definitely moisturize your lips before you apply for longer lasting coverage.
